Galactic Goatman

Ok, so as some of you guys know, I have been revamping my personal novel project Zylotta. I am redoing the story and world building from the ground up. And I am doing this blog to show you all how it is coming along. :D feel free to comment and ask questions, it will only help me to improve my writing and world building skills.

Zylotta itself is a roughly Earth sized planet, with a Hydrogen-Nitrogen atmosphere and a gravitational force of .9g (slightly less than Earth). It is a mostly temperate world, it's land masses are separated into a number of continents, the bulk of these are thick jungle and marshland, inner spaced with plains of tube grass. There is but a single desert in the heart of the largest continent, in the planet's northern hemisphere. There are ice caps at both poles. The planet is encircled by a ring of rocks and debris, which is visible from the surface even in the day. There are four moons, and Zylotta itself orbits a binary star system. It takes roughly 472 days for Zylotta to complete its yearly cycle. It shares its stars with twelve other worlds. Most gas giants and rocky "hellworlds" devoid of life. Zylotta is the eighth planet in its system. Zylotta's stars are located in the outer rim of the Orion spur of the Milky Way.
