Ethos, Pathos, Logos
The concept of Ethos, Pathos, and Logos has received a great deal of attention in the marketing community for its ability to persuade. One can find many different books that explain how to use these concepts to great affect. However, while there is endless support for how this works, to my mind, there isn't near enough emphasis on why this works.
So, over the next few blog posts, I will be explaining, based on my experience, how the three concepts of Ethics, Emotion, and Logic, actually shape our thinking, our mindset, and how they affect the way we, as individuals, perceive reality around us.
