I decided to pierce my helix.

Finally after so long at being put off by all sorts of horror stories about getting this done, I gathered all the equipment and did the piercing myself.

It looks really nice but has that lovely slightly red/ swollen look as it hasn't even been 24hrs yet. I've been reading that the redness and swelling can and does for some people last for weeks....

Rescuing Princess

Yesterday I was online in a doggy forum I go to and volunteered to help with a dogs rescue.

Princess (as my youngest called her) is a great dane x approx 18mths old. Her time was up at the pound and she was due to be pts.

Rescue in Melbourne were going to take her but they needed someone to get her out of the pound.

Air Show

Today we spent most of the day at Richmond Air Base. They had their first air show in about 10years.

I found watching the dogs the most interesting , but hubby and my son loved all the planes. I had to keep my hands over our little ones ears when the fighter jet was doing it's show right over head. She was not impressed by the noise.
