I've be waffling a lot about Nyana in the last few day but I have hardly mentioned Zeta.
Zeta has been a bit under the weather. She has had a bit of an upset stomach. She took herself upstairs and hid in my bedroom. Nyana is very boisterous and is about twice the size of Zeta, not what you need when you are unwell. Zeta was at her worst on Wednesday but has been slowly on the mend since. Today she seems to be back to normal. She is sitting on the chair next to me purring, a lovely sound after a few days of worry.
Zeta, unlike Nyana, is a vocal cat. I can tell from the tone of her voice what mood she is in. She is also capable of nagging. If I am not getting her food quickly enough she will whinge at me.
She certainly whinged when I arrived home tonight. I have been out most of the day. Unfortunately I forgot to put the door stop in place an the kitchen door closed. This meant that Zeta was trapped and could not get to her food or the cat flap. The moment I placed the key in the front door I could her here vocalising her displeasure. I seem to have been forgiven now.
