I thought from time to time I'd bring news from our Alien friends Zarkor and Zerak. You may not have heard, but Zerak has bought his own planet recently. Zarkor, of course, wastes all his Value Units in shady deals with Uncle Zebon while Zerak, on the other hand, is a savvy investor, especially in the Galactic Stock Market. A few clever windfalls and, yes, he had enough cash to buy an uninhabited, virgin planet, aided somewhat by the recent downturn in the real state market.
He's built a beautiful estate there with Zarkor. The planet hasn't been thoroughly explored yet, and Zarkor is anxious to discover what strange life-forms may exist on the various continents. I'll keep you posted.
Of course, Zerak is not the richest of the Galaxy. Zorton is the wealthiest by far. In fact, he's recently bought a whole galaxy. A small dwarf galaxy it must be admitted, but still an astonishing purchase. Though there have been rumblings in the Supreme Council that the deal was illegal due to the fact that the inhabitants of said galaxy weren't informed of the negotiations, and that no one actually owned the galaxy in the first place for Zorton to buy it from, the transaction will undoubtedly be successfully concluded. So it goes in Galactic finance and politics.
By the way, the conclusion to 'The Theory of Everything' Episode remains unwritten. It seems Zarkor is still angry with UM for not expressing our due respect for Zarkor's remarkable contributions to Galactic lore. He is adamant about this, but I think I will be able to work around this problem in the near future with Zerak's help. Here's hoping the matter can be settled amicably, probably with some sort of bribe, or perhaps a appalling spectacle of personal adoration on my part.
