No More Zarkor and Zerak
This is just a short message.
I've decided I'm about finished writing about my Alien friends here, Z & Z and their Adventures. I'm not sure anyone is really interested in these creatures, anyway. I think this is true because somehow I get a lot of views (about 100 or so an entry), but not many comments. This does not surprise me. But, I do sometimes wonder about who is actually looking at all this absurd stuff I've written. I think whoever visits here wisely wish to remain anonymous. I really don't blame them for this. I can understand how embarrassing it would be for anyone to admit they actually read my blog. The probable disdain and mockery they would receive from other members I'm sure lingers in the minds of those who visit, and thus prevents them from revealing their identity by posting a comment.
Another Idea I have is, my blog is like a road accident. It's awful, but it's hard to keep from looking at it. My entries are like a series of auto accidents. No one likes them, but they keep coming back for more. Sort of a morbid fascination.
This is all said in fun, of course. I myself read a lot of stuff here at UM I don't comment on. Even interesting stuff.
Another thing is, I may be getting a little stale at this. Also, it's slightly embarrassing for me to write this stuff. After all, it's presumptuous of me to write anything here. I sometimes think I'm wasting other people's time, writing about stupid Aliens and their screwy Adventures. I mean, what do I know about Outer Space Aliens? Nothing. And I actually may be misrepresenting real Outer Space Aliens, where ever they may be. This I don't want to do, mainly because if one day they do visit Earth, I may be singled out as some sort of fraud perpetrating a hoax and sued for libel, or prosecuted for breach of some Galactic Deceptive Practices law. This I don't want to happen.
This may seem far-fetched, but who knows? Nobody. I don't trust Outer Space Aliens, anyway. I've seen all their movies, and they don't seem too friendly. I'd hate to have to go into hiding and spend the rest of my life letting my hair grow long and wearing a itchy beard and living in obscure communes among old hippys who don't take baths very often.
So instead, from now on I'm just going to write down any random thoughts that come to mind. Now, that will most likely be extremely boring to anyone except me. After a while, no one will come here anymore, and I'll be writing just for my own amusement. This is ok, because I do most everything for my own amusement. Don't we all?
And so, forget about all this Zarkor and Zerak rubbish. They've gone home. Zarkor especially has washed his hands (so to speak) of us Earthlings. He never did like us much to begin with. He mostly just wanted to spread what he calls his Legacy around on as many planets in the Galaxy as he could. I don't think he's felt as appreciated here as he thinks is appropriate to such a superior life-form, as this is what he considers himself to be. His friend Zerak had more sympathy for us, and may possibly miss us a little, but he's a busy Alien, especially as he now owns his own planet. Owning a whole planet takes a lot of looking after.
As for Cloney, well, he doesn't know any better, being new to life. I'll include Uncle Zebon here, just saying he hasn't as yet seen any opportunities to make any Value Units from planet Earth. That's what he's most interested in, and so our little orb doesn't interest him much.
I'll wind this up by saying thanks for all of you who may have read some of my previous entries. 8,000 views in about a year and a half is a very satisfying number for me, as well as an unexpected one.
As fair warning, I'll begin the boring stuff in my next entry. I'm thinking of writing about how I don't like cheese.
