now your birds are well-fed
yet hunger something more

coerced and cheated,
I believed you'd liberate all the differences in me
instead
its so easy to blame your tactlessness
on any of my insecurities

summoning my past, more than it comes to mind
dead memories evoked, sealed scars bleeding
stop whispering: influential, insignificant things
i wonder if you even wish you meant every uttered word
unprotected from your unbounded army

exposed and dispensable, yet
isolated from your approval

i am seeing, all your features

and mock its ignorance
conveying your world to me, assuming i am blind
selective sight does not paralell, disability
i know not a worse accusation
than ignorance or apathy

i tell anyone inquiring
that my diminishing faith has sat upon
what i would do, if it were up to me
but your lashing out
and aggression
trying to shrink anyone down to how small you feel
its revolutionizing
