Ok, if you've read the preceeding blog, it's the same cast of characters. Gerry, Ziggy and me.
We were checking out the new guard dog that an apartment complex had purchased to patrol the grounds. The dog was a huge German Shepherd that patroled between two wire fences that surrounded the complex.
Ziggy, being the expert on everything, decided that no dog was too ferocious for him not to make friends with. He squatted down next to the fence and began to coax the beast closer to him with baby talk and squeaks.
The hell hound, wanting no part of this, stood 6 feet away growling, and baring it's considerable teeth.
Gerry, always the alert one, took a step or two closer to Ziggy, and at the best possible time grabbed his back and let out a loud-WOOF WOOF WOOF.
Ziggy reacted by trying to stand up, his feet slipping beneath him, and ended up on his backside. I never laughed so hard since the snake encounter-
Just to show you how gullible Ziggy was, I once lit his newspaper on fire while he was reading it. It took him 30 seconds to realize the peril, before jumping from the car and stomping the fire out-
