Mothman is a cryptid that was sighted between 1966 and 1967 in Charleston and Point Pleasant, West Virginia. It possesses wings and has a head resembling a moth, however, the rest of its body is unquestionably human like. One of the most interesting things about Mothman is that accounts of it were only made over the course of one year. Following the collapse of the Silver Bridge in Point Pleasant, no Mothman sightings were reported again. This leads some to believe that this bridge's collapse and Mothman are directly related.
