On saturday i start my first class of many in Wing Chun Kung Fu. To be honest i can't wait to see what the art has to offer. Having done karate for 4 years prior, and weapons such as bo staff, bokken and tonfa training for 2 years, this will be a wonderful addition to my combat arts. I suppose in a way i'm trying to combine styles into my own unique mix to complement my own skills. Much in the way jeet kune do teaches (which is a concept and not a style), match the styles with your abilitys. The master of the particular kwoon i'm going to be training at is supposedly a cousin of the famed bruce lee (a big hero of mine), although this could be a fib, time will tell of course. Bruce first started in shaolin wing chun, and since i want to strive to achieve the same skill as he had (although of course no-one is better than bruce...), i decided to join up for wing chun classes and move from there. I'm excited to say the least.
Not only that its 9 days and counting till i get broadband, which will be a huge relief since tesconet (my dial up provider) are crap. The constant disconnections are annoying and the servers are rubbish.

I have been working non-stop since 1100 this morning finishing everything off for my business. I haven't stopped even for food (well i stopped here and there for a smoke), but its all payed off. As from 5 minutes ago LoneSoldier-Shirtsstarted trading. I hope it is as successful as my hopes have been (like any new business starter), i feel a little anxious - but this is something i have been wanting to do for a very long time and finally i've achieved it. Even if i do crash and burn at least i gave it a shot.

Hectic day today, ordering supplies, advertising, site building. All this work, i hope my efforts pay off though. Had a few problems with infowars.net regarding my webspace (the sign-up procedure, is weird they need telephone confirmation, never seen that before), which i have yet to get a reply back from. Apart from that things are running smoothly. I was going to test my cubecart freeware, but theres always a catch - MySQL freeware needed for it is 35mb - which takes 2 hours 30 mins to download on my dial up, my dial up cuts out after 2 hours (cheeky b*stards). To top it all off i forgot to dry my work clothes...hopefully they will be dry in time for work, using the tumble drier.

Welcome to my corner of UM, surprisingly free of razor blades and sharp objects (i'm lying). Watching the world right now, i am full of mixed thoughts. T'was only a few hours ago i was conversing with my padawan Engulf, about the tsunami in asia. I happened to chirp up about the dollar rising now that the asian market had been hit economically by this natural disaster. No offence to the victims, and no disrespect intended for the dead, but we were also discussing the possibility of a Geo-Physical weapon attack, (geo-physical weapons are currently being researched by the pentagon, which was revealed by a top pentagon officer some months ago before the disaster) geo-physical weapons induce natural earth movements at particular areas...such as a earthquake. You lot may scoff at this idea, but we didn't after all it was just pure speculation.
Going with the rebel theme i was gonna give you instructions on how to make a molotov cocktail, but i don't think that would go down well here.....
