pumpkin_head Posted August 10, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 10, 2010 Hello all. I thought this would make an interesting topic so here goes..... First let me begin with the definition of Musing, for those playing at home. As per thefreedictionary.com Musing means : adj. Deep in thought; contemplative.n. 1. Contemplation; meditation.2. A product of contemplation; a thought. "an elegant tapestry of quotations, musings, aphorisms, and autobiographical reflections" (James Atlas). So that is basically me in a nutshell and I would like to share with you the results of such occassions, which I have only recently begun writing down. WARNING!!!: The following may induce a change in perspective, read at your own risk!!! I do hope others have similar things they would like to share, an exchanging of ideas, if you will. "If Money is so essential in life, then why aren't we born with it?" "Reality cannot truly be understood until you've experienced Unreality." "Find your flow, but do not go with it. Instead, make it go with you." "Reality can be vicious. It's more than reasonable to pop out the back door every once in a while."
pumpkin_head Posted August 12, 2010 Author #2 Share Posted August 12, 2010 This one is a little different from those above, as it is entirely circumstantial to an experience I had yesterday concerning a bully. "I know I am a good person because I don't have to stoop to your level to prove it." I also wrote another, however it would be inappropriate of me to post it. Mistydawn Posted August 14, 2010 #5 Share Posted August 14, 2010 Hi Pumkin, below is a quote from my favourite book of all time, "Kazan the wolfdog." I have often reflected over the nature of creatures other than us humans whether they feel sorrow in the way we do. Most people will say about animals, "It's only an animal.." "it takes neither brain nor reason to measure the depths of sorrow or of happiness" "Kazan the Wolf Dog" pg157
Slorri Posted August 17, 2010 #6 Share Posted August 17, 2010 This one is not my own, but it is one of the best. I'm not sure how you say it in English, but it goes something like this: "He who argues with a fool is indeed himself a fool".
