buckskin scout Posted August 26, 2012 #51 Share Posted August 26, 2012 I listen to classic rock mostly but recently got sentimental with my early teen years... sampling and listening to heavy and gloomy yet meditative music I used to listen to with pounding guitars and drums... certainly not for everyone and these youtube videos are beautifully crystal clear Siamese Twins - The Cure (from Pornography, one their heaviest and greatest albums before they went all poppy and fun) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3d9q79EtOc Day Of The Lords - Joy Division (from their best album Unknown Pleasures)

DarthD Posted September 6, 2012 #64 Share Posted September 6, 2012 I enjoy Skrillex , Breathe Carolina , Queen , Foster the People , most classical music , Journey, Aerosmith, Top 40 hits , Micheal Jackson, Meatloaf. The grease soundtrack is quite good too. Paticular song i like are "Me and Bobby Mcgee" " On Fire" " American Pie" " Little Bad Girl " "Mambo Number 5" "One night". I just started listening to INXS, Heavy D and the Boys, Bon Jovi , Blondie, Eurorythimics and several other artists.

Taun Posted September 6, 2012 #66 Share Posted September 6, 2012 Medieval and Renaissance. Steeleye Span, Dubliners, Chieftains and any English traditional folk songs and music. Gregorian and Plainchant. I hate soul, rap, bubble-gum pop and power ballads with an intensity bordering on psychosis! ealdwita, have you listened to "Cast in Bronze"... He plays the only mobile Carillon in the world (35 bells)... While he plays a lot of more modern songs, he also plays some traditional music as well... Really impressive instrument... Hippycrite Posted September 20, 2012 #74 Share Posted September 20, 2012 Right now, mostly '80's thrash on my playlist. But I'll always listen to Beatles-especially the early stuff, psych garage bands from the '60's, Johnny Cash, obscure '70's hard rock. I get my classical fix watching old Warner Bros. cartoons.
