The hearts longing

Emotions are chemicals in the brain. The way we act, think and who we are can be created from our up bringing, who we socialise with, natural instincts, what we fear, painful experiences in life or if parts of our brain are over functioning / under functioning / not functioning

We don't even have the cure for my bald head. Life is not simple. I've met many robot scientists.

Here's my latest poem:

I SING (by Paul)

Floating in the sea of your voice

Must I bestir a memory

Of sombre repose, wistful choice?

I burst in complete melody

Though eyes betray the blue in you

Whispering hearts are never still

like pizzicato strings in two

With no illusion of free will

Wanting, needing, yearning, I cry

The lives I lead, but no one knows

You entertain my every sigh

Above and below, so it goes

Are we fools? you softly ask

Do distant fancies all come true?

Hiding behind a blackened mask

I sing, "I will never leave you"

Well said, deep my friend. Speaks of our longings, the deepest ones.

peace
