What is the scariest movie?

You won't feel like your going to be short-changed.

Despite the eye candy there's a pretty authentic looking bunch of bearded Norwegian types.

They wouldn't look out of place as Vikings or a Scandivanian Santa Claus.

I'm not going to do any spoilers but watch out when the helicopter sets off.

The images in this scene will be forever in your nightmares.

However it wasn't well received at the box office but people don't know what they want.

Thanks for the info :tu:

I really enjoyed the remake of Let The Right One In, Its called Let Me In, Iv watched that movie about 30 times.

Now that is what I call a recommendation, lol.

And so I'm going to watch it on YouTube (Let Me In Part 1, uploaded by TardisCraze939)

I thought it was great. Many commenters on YouTube moaning about the original Swedish movie and/or the book being better, but I liked it. Normally I am not a big fan of vampire movies, but this one is an exception.

Yes!! I like it because its not the usual vampire tale it sort of has a major understory, Iv seen the original and I think Let Me In is way better. I mean in my opinion it surpasses the original

How does it stand up to the original?

That's a hard one to answer.

The rampant cabin fever and constant paranoia is present in both films.

And the fact that somebody had cottoned on quickly to what the Things true purpose is.

Tbh the overall feel of the original was more grim.

It's all that raging machismo that got everybody at each others throats.

But I don't think more pretty faces in the recent one didn't detract from anything.

Tbh the Norwegians counterbalanced them pretty well.

The more recent one did have a happy end of sorts.

I know Kate was an Antarctica newbie but she should have realised Mcmurdo was a better bet than the Russians.

An other gripe is the presence of five Americans and a Brit.

Tbh the Norwegians approaching Outpost 31 should had a better grasp of the English language.

However that would spoiled the premise of a great film.

I hate to disagree.

Let The Right One In was one of the blandest films I've seen with gore.

It just didn't press any of my buttons.

A Haunting

Pretty much of all their episodes are a classic

They top any ghost movie out there and combines it all. The standard of frightfactor is therebut this is retelling from people who have actually lived through what is presented to you now.

The scariest has to be "Psycho" The original with Janet Leigh directed by Alfred Hitchcock - I still can't take a shower without my alarm system on! The others I have forgotten,

It was.

And when you watch a sequel, it is most of the times less 'scary' because you already know what to expect.

I was actually more optimistic than that when it came to The Thing prequel.
