For tonight, I merely had pork chops and rice.

To me, pork chops are OK. When I eat meat, I often like to have a good quality steak instead.

Tonight, I had a slice of Lemon chicken with a side of brown rice and vegetables (steamed carrots). My family eats well and healthy, while my baby girl has Gerber's jars of carrots and potatoes (she's teething), she will try chicken in the future.

Well. My wife just said that we have overdone the braai thing a bit. I love braaing as a South African.

Yesterday I baked bread at the braai. Took ready made dough and loaded it with garlic and biltong and cheese. In the braai oven and nothing beats when you slice it at first and the steam comes off the slice and your butter just melts into the bread.

Of course we had meat as well. Tried Ostrich boerewors and found it dry. Also did barbecue flavoured chicken wings which saved the meal. Smoky and crispy off the coals. Yet juicy and tender Inside.

Scrapped the parsley sauce motif and made little patties out of the veg and then fried them

So far dinner has been some Haagen Dazs Lemon Sorbet. Because it hurts too much to eat anything else.
