Ashotep Posted April 28, 2013 #1 Share Posted April 28, 2013 In Manshiet Dahshur, 25 miles south of Cairo, the villagers recently extended the boundaries of the cemetery. For Ahmed Rageb, a carpenter who buried his cousin in the annexe, it was a logical decision. “We want to bury the dead,” he said, strolling through the new cemetery after visiting his cousin’s tomb. “The old cemetery is full. And there is no other place to bury my family.” http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2013/04/27/egyptians-seize-pyramid-sites-for-use-as-cemeteries/ This is going to change things. They are also looting the ancient sites.
xYlvax Posted April 28, 2013 #2 Share Posted April 28, 2013 No one should be allowed to be buried in these places, unless they are guarded, so that the greedy living cannot plunder.
