Still Waters Posted June 18, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 18, 2013 Sending a package abroad? Here's a word of advice: Pick your airline carefully. A hilarious video has captured the care - or distinct lack there of - taken by an air freight handler at Guangzhou airport in China recently. The worker energetically ditches a trolley full of boxes in the general vicinity of a conveyer belt, which is supposed to transport them inside the airplane. But only a few actually hit their target, with most landing on the tarmac with a crash. http://www.dailymail...ages-plane.html

Ashotep Posted June 18, 2013 #3 Share Posted June 18, 2013 Sometimes these shipping companies don't handle packages too well here either. Ever ordered something to find the box was crushed and it was broke?
Abramelin Posted June 18, 2013 #4 Share Posted June 18, 2013 Solution: Put a sticker on the box, saying: "Handle with care. Do not drop. Extreme shock may cause explosion." And in both English and Chinese, of course, assuming the personnel can read. But I think a simple skull and bones sticker would do as well. Anyway, at least blind people can get a decent job in China, heh.

rashore Posted June 18, 2013 #9 Share Posted June 18, 2013 Well that's just foolish, now the guy has to go back and move all those boxes that missed a second time to get them loaded. Haphazard loading makes for twice the work.

Redefining Success Posted June 20, 2013 #14 Share Posted June 20, 2013 Solution: Put a sticker on the box, saying: "Handle with care. Do not drop. Extreme shock may cause explosion." And in both English and Chinese, of course, assuming the personnel can read. But I think a simple skull and bones sticker would do as well. And then your items, wether it be cheap ebay fodder or a prized collectable will be taken to a remote field and destroyed in a controlled explosion.
