Breaking News: Obama has 72 hours to do something about the health care plan catastrophe before his left wing buddies leave him high and dry not mention derank. The left wings are starting to become upset with the fact that Obama has lost control and is changing his plan. He wants a universal health care system which is not the free-american way. Health care shouldn't have to have it. I have healthcare but I shouldnt have my health care raised to help aid in obama care. And i shouldn't have to loose my insurance with sky rocketing costs by riders that are being added to my plan. There is a reason 5 million americans have lost their health care. And that number is believed to go as north as 100 million. Who is to tell me that if I need or do not need health care. I said it before, but the government works for us, we should not have to work for the government. Obama wants the complete control on this situation and thats why his approval rating just hit 38% this is huge news today and a political nightmare for (not even the left) as much as it is for obama and his staff. His left wing buddies are flyin against him on quit a bit lately.

Does Clinton speaking out represent the first rat to leave the ship that will lead to a mass exodus within the next 72 hours? Or will this guy somehow magically pull it out by really being Nicolai Carpathian?

No offence but this is merely more political porn for the presstitutes to exploit dividing America.

I personally see it as the Clinton's attempting to save face to salvage what's left of Hilary's presidential nomination and campaign.

Kucinich was right--the Obama plan is a fraud, written by and for the insurance industry.

Single payer model is the only one that makes any sense, but that would put the insurance industry out of business.

I doubt that it will put private insurers out of business as they exists even there where healthcare is paid by taxes. They just have to become slightly more competitive.

But as I said with Obamacare all along: Better marginal healthcare than no healthcare at all.

One could use the standard republican answer--"healthcare" is available to any and all by way of the emergency room.

From the medical perspective, that is an absurd position, but rather prevalent in some circles. So, the idea that Obamacare provides some measure of healthcare where there was none before may be true in some cases, but from the outside looking in, it appears Obamacare is costing way more than what it is providing.

The best solution is to make Obama irrelevant.

Take the Dem. Senator Mary Landrieu " Keep Your Plan " and push it through the House with an overwhelming majority.

Then have the same bill pushed through the U.S. Senate with about 80 Votes.

Then just sit the bill on Obama's desk and see what he does.

Lest we forget:

"The immediate goal is to make sure there are more people on private insurance plans. I mean, people have access to health care in America," he said. "After all, you just go to an emergency room." George W Bush

The clock is ticking. It's no longer 72 hours.

The knuckleheads in congress need to find a way to make the - Old Health Care Plans - no longer illegal.

That way the cancellation notices can be made - Null and Void -.

A point I don't understand is if obamacare does relent and people are able to keep their private HI, what happens to the 5+ mil. whos policies have already been cancelled? Its just a cluster f#%$.

It seems to me that every day that goes by things just get worse and worse and obama's care has become an absolute nightmare for our country.

I'm counting the days till the employer mandates kick in and I lose my present excellent coverage.

Is there anyway possible to derail this train wreck? Who will or can stand up to this mess?

Forget "God bless America" its now "God help America"

Exactly. Its a lets all point at the socialist, who isnt a socialist at all. He doesnt want universal health care. If he did, we would already have it. There was nothing to stop him from putting that in the original bill.

Oh, don't worry. It appears that NBC Matt Lauer has that all figured out for you. He says 5% and that's it !

Also, Obama said he was sorry and we should all forgive and forget ?????

I don't think it's up to the government.

It was not the government that sent those cancellation notices to people, it was the private insurance companies.

Single-payer, modeled after other countries, is the only practical solution to the problem.

BS. He absoolutely wants single payer and has said as much to some of his favorite constituents such as the SEIU. He told then that was the ultimate goal but it would take a few years to get there and ACA was teh first step. What stopped him from putting it in the original bill is that it would never have been passed in to law because every idiot that voted for single payer in a country of this size would be out of office the next election cycle.

Oh, so THAT was the plan after all ? - Single Payer / Public Option -

Well now, who could have seen that coming?

------------

Just today Pelosi said a fix is on the way!!!

I'm guessing their " Fix " is not the Single Payer. It will propose a Big Fat Check from the government ( subsidy ) to all Americans

who have lost their health care plans. There you go! Now you can buy the more expensive health care plan! Merry Christmas ?!

We will have to wait and see.

A Big Fat Check from the government! That is so ridiculous and scary, in this political enviorment, it could work! How sad is that?

It looks like Obama will address the nation in 20 minutes.

Also, it appears Eric Holder will get impeached in the House for ...........lets just say it's a long list.

It's a busy day at the White House today.

True. However you seem to miss the point. The government states that insurances that do not meet a certain level of coverage are illegal and cannot be sold. Can you blame insurance companies for complying with the law?

Single-payer, modeled after other countries, is the only practical solution to the problem.

We aren't talking about a Single-payer system are we? We are talking about the ACA!

It looks like Obama just wants to ignore / change parts of the Law of the Land.

New Plan:

- Insurers can extend current plans that would have been cancelled

- Insurers must tell people what their plans don't cover ( Reality Check:They like their old plan just fine! Get Lost Obama!)

- Insurers must tell people they can buy new policies on ObamaCare Website ( Reality Check: It's buggy and has no security....RIP)

- Insurers must tell people they could perhaps go on MediCaid !

I think ALL HealthCare Insurance Companies should do nothing unless they receive " Immunity from Prosecution " for ignoring

the Law of the Land.

The magical. Obama never had magic, will be unable to put it off. There is nothing magical about Obama. There was only marketing, deception and the misguided hope of others, including a small fraction in myself.

And may I add, may Holder be dammed.

If the government had been paying more for medical R&D, the health care costs would not be so high.
