Still Waters Posted December 7, 2013 #1 Share Posted December 7, 2013 Want to know when the Anthropocene started exactly? It will only cost an entirely revamped scientific effort in archaeology, ecology and paleontology, among other disciplines, at an unprecedented planetary scale, according to a new paper calling for such a scheme. http://www.scientifi...uman-domination

thyra Posted December 7, 2013 #3 Share Posted December 7, 2013 Yes, I am stuck with the word "dominated" as well. It is somewhat too strong word when it is humanity versus world. it is far too strong when somebody says it that way I instantly end up thinking humanity never dominated the world. Emin Posted December 7, 2013 #5 Share Posted December 7, 2013 When the humans got plenty to go around is when they dominated, lol.
