A Brazilian woman was hospitalised this week after a spiky porcupine fell from the sky and landed on her head.

Housewife Sandra Nabucco was left in agony after the clumsy rodent embedded more than 200 of its sharp quills in her scalp.

It would've been cool if the lady exploded into a bunch gold rings that were collected by the porcupine before it ran off at supersonic speed.

I have an old browser and I can't seem to open the article. Can someone tell me how the porcupine came to be airborne?

Well, they climb. :)

I had the same reaction: porcupines don't "throw" their quills; people stick their faces in the porky's business and then claim the were attacked.

Not sure if this was the case here, she was just in the wrong place at the right time for the porcupine....thats life.
