Likely Guy Posted February 22, 2014 #51 Share Posted February 22, 2014 (edited) your point? That anything attributed to Jack's writings were from an uneducated person, certainly not from Conan-Doyle. Edited February 22, 2014 by Likely Guy

dr no Posted February 22, 2014 #54 Share Posted February 22, 2014 I did say that. His handwriting is of interest, which is attached to him, which matches a lot of Jacks. I would say he is a person of interest. The only trouble is there are many letters supposedly from Jack so which do you decide are genuine.I personally don't believe any came from the killer, with the possible exception of the "from hell" letter, but thats my personal opinion I have no evidence to support it. A good book is Jack the Ripper Letters From Hell that prints the letters the police received http://www.amazon.co.uk/Jack-Ripper-Stewart-P-Evans/dp/075093770X/ref=tmm_pap_title_0?ie=UTF8&qid=1393086010&sr=1-
Small Town History Posted February 22, 2014 #55 Share Posted February 22, 2014 I have that book. Thanks. Ok, lets look at it this way, don't look for Doyle's matching Jacks, look for Jacks that matches Doyle's. Lets say Jack Doyle is Conan Ripper. Does that help by trading shoes to see if they fit? Don't compare Doyle's to Jacks, but Jacks to Doyle's. Lets make Doyle the Bad guy, and Jack the writer of Holmes and Watson the good guy. Is there a difference between the two? Let me know. Small Town History Posted February 22, 2014 #56 Share Posted February 22, 2014 It appears Jack was an artist. Perhaps a political cartoonist.

Likely Guy Posted February 23, 2014 #60 Share Posted February 23, 2014 What is your strongest genre, besides crossword puzzles? Crossword puzzles aren't, by definition, a genre, unless we were talking about word puzzles originally.
