Worst Horror Movie Ever?

For me, it would be the Grudge. I must confess, I didn't go into the theatres expecting much from The Grudge, but when I saw it, I left after an hour. Everyone in the theatre was screaming and jumping out of their seats. The movie was predictable, repetitve and boring. The computer animation used in this movie was also very cartoony. After watching an hour of it, I was fed up, and I left. If anyone hasn't seen it yet, I advise you not to. It's a corny spin off of The Ring, and the Ring was a dumb movie as well. Save your $10 and go out to eat or something. Wait for The Grudge to come on TV, it's not even worth renting.

I saw a few TV spots and have to say i was outraged that they could even try and pass off this junk as horror. I mean, the graphics were so bad i think it would have been better if they threw Shrek in there somewhere to add abit of REALISM to it.

Anyway, worst horror ever is easily Halloween 1.

Holloween 3, worst ever

I remember one of them had nothing to do with Michael Myers at all...it was horrible...That must have been 3...wow that was bad, when I saw it I thought I had walked into the wrong theatre...

Exorcist 2 was really bad, couldn't even follow that one...

Poltergeist2...3 how ever many they made of that one, everything past the first one was trash.

BWP2- the first blair witch was good...

Jaws2-13...Talk about milking a franchise dry.

Friday the 13th, all but the first one. The first one was bad too, but it started a trend, so I will give it credit there...When I was a kid I lived in Southern California, some distant relives of mine owned a ranch up in Valencia where movies were filmed; Friday the 13th was one of the movies that was filmed there. I got to spend the night at the ranch a couple of times in the little shack that jason was supposed to have lived in... A lot of the props were still just laying around from the filming, it was a neat experience. It was spooky...

There are just so many bad horror movies...

my sister liked the Village. I wanted to see it, but chickened out. Alot of people say it wasn't good (predictable and such) but feh. I wanna see it. And besides, I don't like horror movies. scared.gif never really liked horror, which is ironic because Halloween is my fave holiday. blink.gif

I don't want to see the grudge. bleah. Once my sister and friends were watching "El Chupacabra" and kept pausing at random times. w00t.gif It was lol because we would mock them like this:

*person sees dead guy who was mauled by chupy*

Sir? *poke*

Are you alive? *poke*

Y'sure are fun to poke! *poke*

what? wrong turn was excellent! it actualy kinda freaked me out at some parts. and thats rare. but the The Grudge was definaly one of the worst ive seen, but not nearly as bad as the Ring. i also hate all of the sci fi original movies. very cheesy. a lot of old horror movies suck too. i remember The Amityville Dollhouse. omg that was terrible! i didnt like Friday the 13th Part 2 either. theres just too many crappy horror movies out there.

Cabin Fever was horrable and the director wrote himself into the script, badly. Also, he can't act. tongue.gif Wrong Turn was indeed very very bad and the remake of Texas Chainsaw... same movie as wrong turn and they both made me want to hurl!

Last scary movie I saw was Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. Don't know Jason or Freddy, but it does seem from the post I've read on this forum that these two don't play well with others.
