I'm still not convinced that zoser is being altogether objective either however I do try to give him the benefit of the doubt on occasion.

I can assure you that I have a deep seated conviction that what we are seeing has no trivial explanation.  I'm not trying to be pushy or win arguments.  That's not what I am here for.  Something is going on.   The last three or four cases to me are incredible:

Yuma
Denbigh
Fraserburgh
Myrtle Beach

Serious investigation is warranted not immediate dismissal imho.

Synch that's a brilliant find well done.  Whatever it is on the runway it could well be the culprit; ET or not.

I was hoping to get a "street view" but that's wishful thinking on an air base.
It almost looks like a parachute or perhaps a balloon ready for launch.

Here's one response on youtube:

The "Strange object" is only a Sikorsky Sky Crane. What appears as 24 blades is in fact only six rotor blades with white rotor tips tips. The illusion of extra blades is an artifact of the camera that took the picture. The orangish color at the center of the rotor disk inticates it is probably one of Erickson Air Crane's firefighting water tankers.

I think I've seen that before, I think they decided it was some sort of target for calibration of satellites and/or aerial cameras, painted onto the runway.

It is equally fascinating to me as much as the prospect of alien visitation. It might just be my inner nerd however the thought of some unknown spontaneous energy that could possibly be utilized for our benefit amazes me. It has a Star Trek kind of quality to it.

Nice pic.  If I were to ask the obvious though; how can one tell categorically that it is atmospheric phenomena?
