Still Waters Posted April 18, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 18, 2014 It was late, almost 9 at night, when Justin Holden pulled the icy pizza box from the refrigerator at the Brookville Supermarket in Washington, D.C. He stood in front of the open door, scanning the nutrition facts label. A close relative had recently had a heart attack, and in the back of his mind there was this idea stalking him: If he put too much salt in his body, it would eventually kill him. http://www.npr.org/b...ol-your-stomach

Bendy Demon Posted April 19, 2014 #3 Share Posted April 19, 2014 one day, scientists/doctors etc etc, will eventually say..."nothing is good for you".... "fruits and vegetables are not good for you" "this and that and what not is NOT GOOD FOR YOU" We are kind of already there. Every day there is a plethora of articles screeching in our faces that this or that is bad for you. One week this food is good and a couple of days later the same is bad. I won't deny that our foods are soaked with chemical preservatives whose only function is to lengthen shelf life and saturated with artificial things to take the place of real ingredients. So I just steer clear of most boxed and packaged foods; I read labels to avoid MSG (which gives me migraines) nitrites, nitrates, artificial sweeteners and hydrogenated oils (almost all of which are rancid but you'd never know 'cause of the hydrogenation process). Sure..too much salt and sugar is not good, neither is too much Vitamin A or too much Vitamin B (also gives me a headache) but I am well able to monitor what I put in my body and don't need any nannies telling me what to eat.

WOW, you should go see a doctor Ryu, you might have diabetes, since you have mentioned migraines and headaches with certain foods
