Let's ignore theories about space and look at the Mayan's Baktuns. They believe that after 13 of them something awesome will happen, right? Am I on track so far?

nope by all accounts they planned to have a big party and then it calendar would start again...... that's about it

Alright. SO does this mean that if whoever was writting this awesome calender had decided that 13 wasn't such an awesome number, maybe that 12 or 1 was, that this supposed 'end of the world' wouldn't be happening?

As I said many times before this topic became very popular <not so many time on this forum thou, just to friends that are freaking out.> They just ran out of room to write after Dec 21,2012 ......  ^_^

It's not that they PICKED 13, it's that that's what it calculated to (not getting into specifics).

Why I think nothing will happen? There's no reason for anything to happen.
