Hazzard Posted December 19, 2005 #1 Share Posted December 19, 2005 From now through mid-2006, it's Saturn time again. The planet Saturn returns to our early evening sky this month to the delight of stargazers everywhere. http://saturn.jpl.nasa.gov/multimedia/imag...fm?imageID=1907
SureFire Posted December 20, 2005 #2 Share Posted December 20, 2005 I just wish I had some equiptment to get a closer look. It's almost impossible to see anything due to the smog here in Seoul, I might have to get a few friends from base and take a trip south to see whats up. Thanks for the head up. Lord Umbarger Posted December 21, 2005 #5 Share Posted December 21, 2005 I'm always looking at the night sky. I think that more people should. Doing so helps you to realize just how small your own little problems actually are. I hope that the top post on this tread motivates a few more people to go outside with thier kids and look up at the stars. At the very least, you may give them something to remember. At the very most, you might instill in them a sence of wonder. Who knows, they might even do the same with their own children.
