questionmark Posted October 4, 2009 #1 Share Posted October 4, 2009 October 2 (Bloomberg) -- Rick Tanner is one American who loves his government-run health care. After serving in Vietnam and spending three decades in the U.S. Navy, Tanner retired in 1991 with a bad knee and high blood pressure. preacherman76 Posted October 4, 2009 #2 Share Posted October 4, 2009 Now, here is a nice example of how, even in America, government run healthcare does work...and even the capitalist media seez so! LOL, its things like this (not that im against care for our vets, cause Im not, we definitly owe it to them. Even though folks like LT think we should take it from them. Then again that was when she thought I served, and was getting free health care) That raised the price of health care to unaffordable levels to begin with. Medicaid/care are prime examples. Once the government starts flipping the bill they start charging whatever they want. Capitalism works great, but as soon as you mix a little socialism in, its like poison to the system. And is doomed to fail. BTW there is no capitalist media. Not in the main stream anyway. There are folks who know thier roll well, and are there to make sure this 2 headed party stays in power. But the whole thing is just smoke and mirror's. It works all over the world. We should be looking at the countries who've been using it and analyzing the results. This should not be a theoretical debate.
