Iceland Rises as Its Glaciers Melt From Climate Change

By Mari N. Jensen, UA College of Science | January 29, 2015

"Some sites in south-central Iceland are moving upward as much as 1.4 inches per year — a speed that surprised the researchers."

"Richard Bennett, a UA associate professor of geosciences. added there is geological evidence that during the past deglaciation roughly 12,000 years ago, volcanic activity in some regions of Iceland increased thirtyfold.

Really a fan of the tautologies there, huh?

If we have another large volcanic event, I seriously doubt that the Pentagon has banked on the removal of air power from the battlefield, or that this plague might adversely affect the defense of the free and the brave.

I suspect that the hard Russian winter isn't the only tool up the mighty earth's sleeve. They never imagine this, because the earth doesn't hear them.

Would we be forced to use tactical nuclear weapons?

My Mother plays chess, but Big Daddy's board is said to be covered in a lake of fire.

My hope is that we remain in the earth's favor, but that's not what I see.

I see air power thrown to the ground and trampled upon.
