We're already condemned for being the world police even though no one else wants the job. We get slammed when we refuse to pay the lions share of the U.N. even though it rarely does anything to benefit the U.S. We get tagged as being the greediest of humans although we sponcer more humanitarian causes than the rest of the world combined. We are called ungiving when we were the largest donars to the relief aid that was sent to the Tsunami victims. Now, Obama wants us to pay a World Tax too. And somehow, those on the left want us to believe that he is a fine choice for a leader of Amerca? When is teh little b****** going to doi a little something that actually help the average U.S. citizen some, eh?

The Left has been robbign Peter to pay Paul for over a half century already. Now, the Left wants to rob Me to pay all the other damned deciples too! Tell me again how he was the best choice for President again? We are going through the worst economic crash we have experienced in 80 years and somehow, Obama feels like we still have too much money for groceries and housing. Just how bad have things have to get before this jerk will take his hand out of the American pocket!?!

In the middle of a terror war, we elect a muslim. That is like electing a Nazi to the office back in 1942. During the worst economic crash seen for over a generation, we get a "tax and spend Socialist. That is sort of like asking Jimmy Carter to balance your check book. Somehow, I feel like this just isn't going to end well.

Obama promised change. Too bad we started out with dollars adn are just going to get left with change.

The Conference on the World Financial and Economic Crisis and its Impact on Development that begins today will consider adoption of a document calling for “new voluntary and innovative sources of financing initiatives to provide additional stable sources of development finance...” This is U.N.-speak for global taxes. They are anything but “voluntary” for the people forced to pay them.

The most “popular” proposals, which could generate tens of billions of dollars in revenue for global purposes, involve taxes on greenhouse gas emissions and financial transactions such as stock trades.

I think you'll find the amount of humanitarian aid the U.S provides to the world per head of population isn't that different from any other developed country. And as a percentage of G.D.P it's probably less than most.

In fact doing a quick search, I found the U.S is rated 15 out of 23 in the Humanitarian Response Index.

This is the pattern that he followed in regard to more money for the International Monetary Fund (IMF). After agreeing at the G-20 summit to provide more money for the IMF, the Obama White House slipped the cash and credit into the recently passed emergency war funding bill. The Obama White House had added billions in cash, as well as a $100 billion line of credit, for the IMF.

Rep. Mike Pence commented, “This legislation, which includes $108 billion in loan authorizations for a global bailout, for the International Monetary Fund — at a time when this government has run up a $2 trillion annual deficit — I believe does a disservice to taxpayers and to those that defend us. Passing a $108 billion global bailout on the backs of our soldiers is just not right.”

The U.N. conference document explains where all of this is leading — the destruction of the American dollar as the world’s reserve currency and the build-up of global institutions such as the IMF and the U.N.

It declares that “We acknowledge the calls by many states for further study of the feasibility and advisability of a more efficient reserve system, including the possible function of SDRs in any such system and the complementary roles that could be played by various regional arrangements.” SDRs are Special Drawing Rights, a form of international currency that enables global institutions like the International Monetary Fund to provide more foreign aid to the rest of the world. The U.S. pays for SDRs through its financial contributions to the IMF.

If implemented, the document would officially mark the end of the United States as the world’s leading economic power.

It's funny that people wanted him in so bad because he'd "spread the wealth around" (I'm no richer, are you?) yet, hmm...the economy is a steaming pile (worse than the Bush admin) and there's budding plans to tax damn near everything. I know who's getting all the hand-outs -- banks and Wall Street firms -- not to mention General Motors and Chrysler.

My sister just had her house foreclosed on -- and her's wasn't a subprime loan. She was a good risk, with a good credit rating and a good job.

But now that she's out on her can, through no fault of her own, the bank has no mercy on on her -- took her house after 20 years of payments and left her with nothing -- and now she's working so that her taxes can bail out the banking system that bled her dry.

Yes -- let's have a dicussion of who is "expecting hand outs" and who is getting them -- because it's not he average Obama voter, as far as I can see.

I know a lot of super rich sugar beet farmers in my area who have been riding high on huge government sugar subsidies for years. In my state, the taxpayers just forked over a quarter of a billion to build a basebal stadium for the 24th richest man in America.

I wish Obama would get busy with those handout to all his supporters -- except he can't beause just Wall Street ate all of our lunches for many year to come.
