In May last year he lured 7 year old Anna Bachmeier into his flat to play with his cat. There he strangled her with her tights. When police learnt that the convicted pedophile lived so near the missing child, they questioned Grabowski who soon confessed and led them to the buried body. But his trial this March was going his way, with prosecutors barred from asking why he had removed Anna's tights, and his story of little Anna's threatening to blackmail him receiving a sympathetic hearing. The judge was evidently taking a liberal and leniant line, veiwing Grabowski as a penitent pervert, and the jury was not hearing enough about the accused's deliberate restoration of his sex drive. As he looked likely to receive a light sentence for manslaughter, Frau Marie Ann Brachmeier, the little girl's mother, took matters into her own hands. My whole focus is on making sure they never ever hurt anyone ever again. If that means rehabilitation... fine (if there's some massive proof that rehabilitation works for the crime), if it means a bullet in the back of their head... fine.
