CyberKen Posted October 31, 2013 #1 Share Posted October 31, 2013 (edited) This link will be a revealing moment to all who read the chart of past U.S. Federal Budget Deficits. Considering the first four years of Obama, it appears we have successfully weathered the storm. Thanks to the 2% Sequester AND the record income of $2.77 Trillion our U.S. Federal Budget Deficit is $680 Billion. When you click on the link scroll down and look at the U.S. Federal Budget Deficits under President Ronald Reagan. http://cnsnews.com/n...cits-us-history The Sequester saved us! It was just a 2% cut across the board. Edited October 31, 2013 by CyberKen

The 2% cut plus the record revenue of $2.77 Trillion did the trick.
ian hacktorp Posted October 31, 2013 #4 Share Posted October 31, 2013 It's too bad unfunded liabilites, which absolutely dwarf the reported deficit, are just as real as the deficit itself... ...unlike the unicorns and rainbows some claim to see. First things first, lets get the deficit under control. It's only $680 Billion 2013. Lets get that down to $550 Billion for 2014.
