I'm guessing they boxed up the fridge and have it in storage next to the Ark of the Covenant in warehouse 13.

This story has legs. I look forward to reading the blog when I get home. I googled the Kepler gateway to see where he came up with the name. I guess he really has some knowledge of physics, and a knowledge of storytelling enough to weave an engaging tale. Well done I say! I love science fiction. Was this a spin on the John Carter theme crossed with CS Lewis "wardrobe" tech? What creatures will be found on Kepler?
