The scar on this tree looks like a familiar symbol but I cannot place it.
Anyone?

It reminds me of AMMAs little characature .It's not a true Hindu symbol ,but its her design ,which means it has some sort of mystical roots.
There are dolls of AMMA,that are said to do some odd things ...so .

Looks like a natural tree scar to me.
Illegal immigration isn't a new concept in the US. Just ask the Native Americans.

It most probably is, but I think Herenow wants to know what kind of symbol it resembles.

A scar left after someone sawed off a branche close to the trunk, and then applied some sort of wound plaster for trees or something.

Bearing in mind there are several ways of drawing om depending on which script you are using

Yes, something like that.
Is there a site showing that symbol and other symbols?

Saw a "Shadow Person" at this tree about 10 years ago, and someone left something at this tree about 3 years ago.

I know it's 'Saint Wiki the Infallible', but there's pictures of different 'OMs' if you scroll down.

Thanks for the link.  It's close, but I don't think it's close enough.
Experience tells me I need almost and exact match.  Thanks ealdwita.

Looks to me like someone wearing a Sanbenito. They made heretics wear those.

Also a gazelle with one horn or something like that but sitting upright as in the way Baphomet sits aka the devil's goat.
