Bridge player dies after rare winning hand

The grandmother of 12 won her final tournament last month but died during a regular Tuesday night session with friends, after achieving a hand of 29 - which experts say is incredibly rare, with a chance of 150,000:1.

She was 80 years old and with that winning hand had accomplished all she desired in this life...so she checked out. Just my personal feeling.

Going out on a high note is pretty cool - especially as it's the exact moment that fear of death would be furthest from your mind. I think, if she is out there in the nether she would be pretty pleased with how that turned out, for myself I'd be ok with going out doing something I loved.
