Still Waters Posted November 7, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 7, 2014 Two bears which had been abandoned in concrete enclosures in Bulgaria have been rescued by a Kent wildlife charity. The Wildwood Trust said the 16-year-old European brown bears were bred to be hunted, but were left when this was outlawed in 1993. http://www.bbc.co.uk...d-kent-29957673
Ashotep Posted November 8, 2014 #2 Share Posted November 8, 2014 Poor things to be abandoned like that. If it wasn't for the locals feeding them what little they did they would have died. Glad they have happier days ahead of them.
