ABOTU Posted December 31, 2004 #1 Share Posted December 31, 2004 It's not very good, and doesn't have a tune, but here goes nothing. Our smiles were lost When he led us the wrong way We used to grin Till that fateful day. We were only kids, But it affected us so, We tried to fight back we tried to show Chours We are stronger as one We can win. Like a fire burning He hold us within; Within his world of hate, We only discriminate. But we won't give up, We won't give them the chance, To put us down To force us to dance. We won't give up. She was of the age of eleven Forced to live in a time, When power means everything She said "I'm not backing down To think that you solve As we used to do, When we were only Three or two. I'll say To your face; That we're gonna win So she said Refrain He too was young But wanted to help. He wished he was older To cast his vote. To make a change To not let them win. But he couldn't find a place That would take children. So he said Refrain We fought so hard Yest still we lost. It's not our fault, It's America's. It's the hate of others, That's doing this to us. It's the hate of others, That makes the world so dangerous. So we said Refrain That's it thanks for reading any constructive criticism is welcome.
