I don't have room here, or time available to report just what happened to me, but

I will try to give you a really concise look at how I saw it.

It was early in 2002, more than 11 years ago, and I was in the best of health if you don't

count my allergies to pollen and dust! Suddenly, one day, I felt the worst pain in my head that can

be imagined and I felt myself collapse to the floor. As I passed out, I was sure that this was it.

It very nearly was. They had no clue as to what my illness was, but in time it was determined

to be a cerebral bleed caused by a bursting arteriovenous-malformation(AVM).

When the swelling in my head went down I was given as 8 hour operation to try to

save my life, but afterwards my relatives were warned that I was still expected to soon die, or

be what they called brain dead. I had amnesia when I woke up again, but I knew that things

were not going so well. I remember wishing that I could recover to live another 5 years, as

long as I could keep my job and still be able to drive my car. But I did not figure that was likely

to happen. Would God help me? I figured that was the only way. At first I could not even talk or walk.

One day my wife came in the hospital and told me that she had a message for me and I wondered which

of my old friends had sent me a greeting. But she said the message was a spiritual one, and I would be

healed and in time recover 100% to be as I once was, but it would take time, time and time. I figured that

was the only way, but it required longer than even I thought. People prayed for me, when my family asked them to, both

Protestants and Catholics. God bless every one of them! I got my life back literally an inch at a time but I got it all back.

Afterwards I started praying for others who were very ill or dying, and I enjoyed the stories of those who were healed

even more than my own healing.

And one day something jogged my memory as to my near death. I was below the earth and going through a tunnel,

and there was a guide with me and two or three others. You could see a light up ahead and hear a roar, but before we

got there the guide told me I would have to return, because the place was not ready for me yet. Come back in the future,

and I could come in. I was disappointed, but I returned.

If you come to be dying, don't give up, get some sincere people of faith to pray for you, and things may work out

better than you could imagine! It happened to me. Thank you Jesus!

Uh, I'm not sure I'd want to go there. Doesn't sound like Heaven to me.

And, thank everyone for their prayers, but you may want to share some of that thanks with the surgeons who spent 8 hours with your head.

Oh I agree. As well as thanks to God who not only created those surgeons, but who gave them the ability to heal.

So yes, very good point.

To reply to some of the good comments...

I would be happy to thank my neuro-surgeon who operated on me, but someone like me the

operating surgeon does not usually want to see again. Better to leave well enough alone?

Maybe, and maybe they escape alot of complaints. I would thank him, and do here, but I thank

Jesus more! And not just for being alive, but for "having my life back." It doesn't happen every day.

I was not someone who deserved it, but I have changed. And I was told that we all have to change.

And NDE survivors often report a light ahead in the tunnel, but I also heard something. Not perhaps

a loud roar, but the sounds of a city of light on a hill.

Years ago I worked with a man who had a bad heart. He needed a heart transplant, but it was a fairly new

thing then and he very nearly died before one was available. We prayed for him. During the transplant he was near death,

and saw Heaven. He later told us that he had seen Jesus there, and had visited the "library" there.

He was given a huge amount of knowledge, but all he could remember when he returned to work was

that the total will of the Father would not be done until the Son returned to earth. It will happen.

He lived more than fifteen more years and saw his children grow up and then died. I know that he is

back in Heaven.

NDE's are interesting in my opinion..

most seem to experience something.. but what I find the most interesting.. is the NDE matches the persons faith..

ie.. Muslims see the Prophet or Allah, Christians Jesus or God.. Pagans see their patron God or Goddess.. Buddists Buddah etc..

Skeptics see family members who have died before them..

its rather amazing if you think about it.. then you will have others who dont see or feel anything..

Is NDE real.. its really hard to say.. its real to those who have them.. I am rather looking forward to the day it happens to me :)

Yea its hard to say. The most convincing story Ive seen was that nuro surgeon. He went into good detail on how brain activity couldnt answer all the NDE questions.

I read an account by another NDE survivor and soon after their return to life they had visions or dreams

of interviews with an unidentified man. The topics included why they had to return to this life.

They concluded that the man was an angel, who helped prepare them for the things they were supposed to do.

We are brought back for a purpose and I found my purpose some months after my return.

Although it required me to leave the denomination I was a member of...I was to pray for, or lay hands on

the very sick and the dying, so that they could be healed. Just as others had prayed for me when I was dying.

I believed I was doing so to thank God for my own healing. It made me wildly happy when

I got my first healing. I was told to accept no money for anyone helped, nor could I accept any

thank you at all, ever. God heals and he deserves all the thanks.

I would pray for a dozen or so of the very ill every month and this went on for about 5 years.

How does God heal people? Christ healed people all at once, but I am nothing compared to him,

and so people take time to heal. Circumstances slowly change and before you know it the

patient is enjoying a much improved prognosis. I once was asked to pray for two men with cancer.

I sent to them or their familes emails containing prayers for them They were both in hospitals, if I recall, and

one had been diagnosed recently and one for many months. I started praying for the recent one, and within

two days I was startled to see that there had been a mistake with his diagnosis, they thought, and he

no longer had cancer. Praise God, I said, and I moved on to the one who had suffered the longest.

This one took longer and it was 14 days longer when I got the word that evidently there had also been

a missed diagnosis with him, and he did not have cancer either, I prayed and thanked God.

Quietly people were helped, but not always, they must have some tiny bit of faith, and so must I

when I pray for them.

If you are very ill, you need a person who is a healer in the Holy Spirit, and this is called having

the healing anointing. Try a house of worship that believes in healing, but do not pay for it.

It should be free.

Then there was our neighbors, Mr. and Mrs. B. He was older than she by perhaps 10-12 years, and

she was outgoing and loud, and he was quiet...as perhaps many couples are. He became very ill when he

was older and their older daughter came to us near tears telling us how he was confined to their house for

the rest of his life. Wife and I promised to pray for him, and a couple months later we saw them both set

up at a trade show and although he was not perfect, he was smiling and he had escaped the house!

Then some time went by and his wife contracted cancer and had internal bleeding from it. She told my

wife not to pray for her, but her daughter again came to us and asked us to pray anyway. The normally

loud woman was quiet now and didn't appear long for this earth. We did pray for her and she did

continue her medical care. Both helped her to survive. It has been perhaps five years since Mr. B's

illness and he is old, but he gets around, and it has been perhaps three years since Mrs. B got cancer and

she is back to her old loud ways.

As I prayed for people, many people saw me as a mostly disabled man who they put up with because of his

family and his history, perhaps...while some others saw me as their saving angel who stood between them and

death. Who was right? I did not heal anyone, the thanks go to the Father and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Some Christian healers say we should always avoid doctors. Not I, but I recommend always going to them, but pray

for the best. If they say you will die soon anyway, then ask for serious prayer to the Lord.

It has been years since my healing, and I no longer have much of the healing anointing for others, but I am into personal prophecies.

Sometimes I can sense something of what a person's future will be. I am not a big talker and I try not to say anything

from the spirit unless I am sure. I had to tell one man that he was to die pretty soon. He was older than I thought, and he was

not too surprised, but he was surprised that I knew! He had nothing to worry about, with his wonderful faith in the Lord!

One more healing I want to mention,

At the support group for my disease I prayed for a lady's daughter who had a similar cerebral bleed as

I had, but even larger. I prayed for her often and I was kept informed of how things were going.

They brought her to a specialist who wanted to operate, because he said it was her only chance, but it was too dangerous to actually attempt it. So, he told her to wait and he checked the size of the AVM later. It had very slightly decreased in size so he continued to wait.

I tried to pray for her at least once a day, but I may have missed a very few when I had busy days, and I kept trying to pray.

They were Catholics and I was Protestant, but we prayed together quite well. After two years the AVM was totally gone.

Unusual? No, I would say it was next to impossible. But it happened. Thank you Jesus.

If you become very ill, and they tell you that you will die soon...remember that God can do anything wonderful that he wants to!

One day I will die, but I am going to Heaven when I do, and I hope you do as well!!!

I left out a great deal. There is not the time or the space, but there is one more thing I want to add and

I will be finished for this write. I promise!

When I started praying for the very ill, and the dying and getting some healings...it very much seemed that

it all facilitated by own healing. Was this enough reward for me? For sure!

But, in prayer I was asked what I would like as like a reward, I suppose. I said...Lord let your name be further glorified!

I was told...Yes, that will be done, but I didn't ask you for that. What is something you would personally like? Of course, it could not

be aomething totally selfish, like a million dollars, but it had to be something for me personally. I asked

for something that I will not reveal here, but it was something that I wanted very much and yet was also

something that many others in my area would also love for us to receive. In 2005, a year or two after I asked

for it, it happened, and I do appreciate it and so do many others. I didn't need any other reward, just answering

my prayers for others was reward enough! Thank you, Jesus!

May all of you come to work for the wonderful Father. He is the best to work for!!!
