their was no suit that could appear that real. many anthropoligists know all the muscles of the creature in the film. if it was a fake, it shouldve been exposed already, not bs lies, and attention seekrs

Everyone is talking about how well the costume is made...honestly, I just can't see enough detail on it to decide if it is all that good.  And that's after the film has been enhanced!

The thing of it is that in this case, it is exactly the old technology and the crappy quality of the film that makes the film so difficult to decide on.  The film just isn't good enough to make anything out of, or another way of saying it is that it is so bad that you could make pretty much anything out of it.  If one looks at the actual, original film, it is moving around so much that one can barely see the creature.  When the film is electronically stabilized, one can see the figure, but it is impossible to see any sort of detail, no matter how deeply you zoom in.

Now, concerning the credibility of the takers, It isn't the guy that was with the filmmaker that had the credibility problems.  In fact, Gimlin was a fairly reputable character, and it is that credibility that has led to speculation that Patterson brought him along to bolster the hoax.  Thing of it is that Patterson, the guy who actually filmed Bigfoot, was a fairly shady character, who was know to the police for scams and schemes.

Think about this:  A guy known for scamming others suddenly comes up to you one day, with a camera, and asks you to go with him into the woods to see if you can spot a mythical animal, and when you say yes, you actually go out into the woods and, lo and behold, there is one right there!  Later on, the guy gets arrested for stealing the camera he used.

Seriously, wouldn't something like this at least raise an eyebrow?

Huh?
I thought I just told you of one (costume) that did in fact appear very, very real...from 40 years ago.

Many anthropologists know all the muscles of the creature in the film?
You're speaking of this relatively poor-quality sasquatch thing, right?

Whatever it is, it is 1) unknown as pertains to identity, and 2) obviously hominid.
Thus, no one knows what the creature is, and further, it wouldn't be a long step to conclude, since it is in fact hominid, and bi-pedal,  that its musculature can be assumed to be very similar to that of other hominids that live on this planet.

However, knowing all of the muscles in the body of something that has never been captured, and dissected,  let alone seen by more than a few people, is really rather a stretch.

I think in all reasonableness that if this were something "real", as pertains to a new species, that science would've been able to locate it...or at least artifacts of it...such as habitat, droppings (yuk), remains, etc...after all, where there is allegedly one, there necessarily must be another, one would think, no?

At any rate, the verdict is obviously out on the authenticity of the film, and of course, on what it allegedly portrays.  Your contention was that no costume could be made to look that real 40 years ago.

This of course is not true, as costuming that looks a great deal more realistic than this film shows was in fact done 40 years ago.

Nah, that's a classic scam trick.  Mooch of ancient stories.  You see it even in today's market.  How many wonder pills do you see on T.V. that claim to use "secrets used for thousands of years and now re-discovered!"?  A few years ago, there was a fetal dragon in a jar that was being talked about.  It was a hoax as well.  That there are stories of dragons from ancient times does not make it the longest hoax in history; it just makes it the most recent incarnation of the same old story.

The thing that turned me around from believing it was hoaxed was when the creature was walking away it turned it's head to look back, the torso turned with the head (not something a human would do to look back) at this point I could clearly see mammory glands. The creature being filmed was a female. Anthopologist have also determined that it would be close to impossible for a human to duplicate the creatures stride as it walked away.

its never been proved a hoax. it shouldnt be considered a hoax. i highly doubt a costume could be made like that over 40 yrs ago

I remember that 'dragon in a jar' thing.

I saw the Bigfoot footage, that is definantly a fake that thing can't be real, it looks like a suit, and the way it walks is too human like.

The picture looks like a gorilla, not bigfoot.
Hoaxers never seen a bigfoot and they thought it just the same as the ape.

Someone's description of Patterson's integrity (scammer etc) reminded me of Joseph Smith...which reminds me of another OLD hoax....

Atheism is the biggest hoax perpetrated on mankind.
The fact that the devil can get so many to believe he and Christ (God) don't exist is the ultimate hoax with the most severe consequences.

I'm sure this post will be ignored or flamed and blasted so I type it for Jesus. original.gif

I've just watched the vid, and in all honesty it moves just like a man in a monkey suit.
