Whatever it really was and wherever it really came from, it looks like the folks at the base were expecting it.  They knew that I camera crew was there as well, which makes the whole thing ever stranger.

They let them see and film it, whatever "it" was.  Fast as lightning, that's for sure.
Perhaps a little stage performance for the film crew.

It is definately in the military's interest, to perpetuate the belief that they are working on or with projects so secret they may be "indistinguishable from magic" to the average layman or, more importantly, to the average enemy of the state.
Area 51 is a gold mine of mis- and dis-information for the military.  By keeping enemy's guessing, you are always one step ahead.

It's no different from refusing to announce your starting quarterback when approaching a big game...or claiming he has been injured and may not play as well.  Professional soccer teams are masters at this tactic.

Keep 'em guessing with smoke and mirrors is what it's all about.

At the heart of science is an essential balance between two seemingly contradictory attitudes--an openness to new ideas, no matter how bizarre or counterintuitive they may be, and the most ruthless skeptical scrutiny of all ideas, old and new.
This is how deep truths are winnowed from deep nonsense. -- Carl Sagan

Rendlesham - Forest England - 1980

Here is a testimony I have never heard before.  Larry Warren gives a detailed description of a craft that landed in a field close to the USAF base.   Amazing testimony.  It appears that the event was recorded on a movie camera and the event was witnessed by UK police as well as air force personnel.  The audio isn't the best quality but it's quite understandable.

It was a flying lighthouse.

It was flying around for quite a while, all over the place.

I've seen this one before.  Bizarre.

It's filmed by an associate of Jaime Mausson.

I admit I missed the humour; sorry SP.

I must read posts more carefully.

Too much criticism by the skeptics must have made me a bit paranoid.

Reminds me a bit of the EBANI.  What were the camera crews doing there?  Did they just happen to catch the object while in the middle of some other filming?

Also interesting that you can hear a chopper flying nearby.  I wonder if it got a clearer view of it?

That's known as a 'balloon cluster'. Fab for parties.

I dunno.  They don't seem to behave like balloons.  Take a quick peek at this:

LOL. Yeah, those are balloons. I don't think any alien ships are going to resemble candy (2:02). All of those look and act like balloons to me.
