HAPPY SUMMER SOLSTICE!  Middsummer party for all!

I donno what I'm doin tonight... but if nothing.. then it's nothing with a bottle of rum! X)

But now we reflect on what's to come... and hope this summer brings the happiness and fruits of personal love and peace!

Ah hah, summer at last!

I'm doing absolutely nothing tonight, but I am today. Going to get off these forums and spend time on a bike in the outer reaches of my city. People of all religions can celebrate the beauty and life of summer.  yes.gif

Happy Solstice, all! - Here in West Texas it means 100+ degrees Fahrenheit for days on end, with either clear skies and blazing sun or thunderstorms, gigantic hail and tornados, but still a good time of the year!  wink2.gif

Our earth is degenerate in these latter days.  There are signs that the world is speedily coming to an end.  Bribery and corruption are common,   Children no longer obey their parents.  Every man wants to write a book, and the end of the world evidently is approaching.

Dear Argent Feline, I found this snippet on another website and thought it hilarious and all too true of American society.  It is meant as humor only:

Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit our best wishes for an environmentally
conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender neutral, celebration
of the summer solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of
the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with
respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their
choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all . . .

(By accepting this greeting, you are accepting these terms. This greeting is subject
to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration to the
original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any
of the wishes for her/himself or others, and is void where prohibited by law, and
is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This wish is warranted to perform
as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year,
or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and
warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the
sole discretion of the wisher.)
Hope you had a great day - Mako  yes.gif
