Surely a very quick and cheap lab. test would verify if this realy is blood?
Have you noticed that film actors always stick their fingers in a suspected pool of blood? WOULD YOU?  ???

       Interesting to note,  the tests would have still shown it was 'real human blood'.  
        And if the son is an addict,  I'm sure (like SP said) it is bound to be contaminated.  :o

Why is it that the only statues that cry or drink milk are from reasonably modern religions?
Wouldn't it be great if the heads on Easter Island burped or if the mummies of long dead pharohs started farting?
May I add that I am not a believer in these modern day religious phenomena?  :sg
