The Story That Never Ends

I thought I would make a never-ending story thread, but this time you can post 10 sentences to get the story on a roll. Here it goes:

Standing through the open woods, I watched her get beaten by a man I thought I loved. His name was Father. He couldn't stay, not there, not now. He had been cursed by the mark of the wolf, for at midnight when the moon was full, he would ever so lastingly lose himself in the depths of knowledge, wisdom, compassion, and faith. He told her what beast lie within him. She told him that he was not to leave, remain in love with her, stay at home. Hiding from the world, he brutally hit her, stood up, and he zipped his pants. Why did he betray us? Mother was dead. I couldn't go back home without getting hurt or killed by Father, I had to make it on my own.
