I want to say 'Viking' (style) but there's not enough animals worked into the swirling lines and, frankly, not enough swirling lines: Viking art is busy. But Viking art is definitely suggested.

Incidentally, Abe, one of those traps we set for non-native 'murrican speakers is that it's "flea" market.

It's definitely some style, or else it would not have been copied for at least 30 years, but personally I think it's more Anglo-Saxon or Old English; however, the triskele Simbi mentioned would create a problem.

.

I watched parts of it actually.
And I meant her endeavors, not origins.
She was a dancer,I was  martial artist .
She married I Japanese musician,    ,and got involved with the culture. I dated a Japanese musician for years, and almost moved to Japan.
Then her involvement with the Laveau family, and initiation into voodoo .

Miss me?

I could have been her, considering my experiences and interests.

You have not the faintest clue what my site is is all about.

And no, my site is not in my signature.

Simbi, do you understand what this man is singing about? :

It's a hypnotizing song for me, and listen to it over and over again. I perfectly love it... sigh.

My ex/neighbour ( Arawak) often hates me because I always have African music on when she comes around.

Why the hell is that??

She tells me it's 'evil' music.

But I love it.

I must be lost, right?

I cannot watch animal sacrifice . He's singing about the power of the spirit .
No,I don't understand the language ,but I'm pretty sure that's what its about .
I hear names of orishas too .
More than one . I sing oyas and oshuns songs, with out knowing the  language. It's about the feeling conveyed .
The song is hypnotic, but I can't watch the vid .

Must turn it off now. I do no animal sacrifice ,at all, ever .The gods understand .

What animal sacrifice? The chicken? You are a vegetarian?

You don't eat meat? I do, and I slaughtered rabbits and chickens and fish.

At first it felt horrible, but later on I just thought of having respect for the animal I wanted to eat. And then I chopped of its head.

We live by eating something else, be it a plant or an animal.

I cannot watch any animal die. End of story . I do still eat some animal proteins, but I phase it out more and more. I'm down to some pork, and some fish ,but rarely .
I'm am very close to vegitarian .I eat no poultry ,no shellfish ,no beef ,no lamb .
I do mostly pasta ,salad ,and tunafish .
I eat pork when I feel run down .

And where do you get the pork from? From a pig that committed suicide?

And you eat tuna fish.

I think you can't watch an animal die, but you have no problems with someone else doing the killing for you.
