The Minot AFB incident is truly amazing! Many such incidents are not even reported in the newspapers, so the public is largely unaware of what has been going on around them. Here, we had witnesses on the ground and in the air, whose accounts were verified by electronic means.

The Minot AFB UFO was definitely not the result of any natural phenomena.

Thanks for sharing all this, Karl.  It's very interesting.  The fact that documents like these are no longer classified is interesting to me too.

And, that is just the tip of an iceberg. There are thousands of such documention on UFO incidents and sightings.

But remember it cant be an Alien driven Craft THe Septics all say so ! So Im sold  ! I`ll listen to Logic anyday over what a professional Pilot would say right?

Wow. An Unidentified Flying Object. Now that's something I've never read about in this forum.

Snide remarks aside, it's an interesting case, but it's still inconclusive.

Thanks for the video. I notice that he mentioned JANAP-146, which I brought up from time to time. Many  commercial pilots were angered as well.

Skyeagle, thanks for the reply and I couldn't agree more about the JANAP-146 - Richard Dolan makes some good points about it here in his book ´UFOs and the National Security State´:

On February 13th (1954), Jim G. Lucas of Scripps Howard reported that representatives of major airlines were planning to meet in Los Angleles with intelligence officers of the Military Air Transport Service.
The purpose was to speed up UFO reporting procedures. Lucas wrote that airline pilots were reporting large numbers of UFOs during their flights and were now being asked "not to discuss their sightings publicly or give them to newspapers".
Lucas had accurate information. On February 17th 1954 ,officers of the Military Transport Intelligence met with officials of the Airline Pilots Union at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood.
The goal of the meeting was to implement JANAP 146,specifically to arrange for pilots to radio UFO reports to the nearest airport and make no public statements about them.
Violations brought prison terms of up to ten years and/or a fine of $10,000.


Scripps Howards papers followed up on February 23rd to report that
"the nation´s 8,500 commercial airline pilot have been seeing a lot of unusual objects while flying at night, here and overseas".
It confirmed that plans for a detailed reporting system were agreed upon to enable the air force to investigate UFOs quickly.
Each airline had an internal security specialist to meet with the Air Force.




Major Donald Keyhoe also mentions it here in his letter to U.S. President Harry Truman and he states JANAP-146 "officially invokes espionage laws in relation to both military and civilian pilots reporting UFOs".
