Overall, the population has risen by 349,000 to more than 60million. The news came as it was revealed that hundreds of thousands of asylum seekers will be granted an 'amnesty' to live in Britain on human rights grounds. If Britons are not going to stand up for their way of life and tell those who "come" that they either adapt or go home there will be an obvious outcome. And claiming that the lifestyle of the majority deserves just as much respect as the lifestyle of the minority is NOT racist. It is part of human rights. It's apparently down to the bad weather, you know the floods that we recently been having, house prices, the lack of cheap houses and thats it. What the bbc dont and cant report, you know! the TRUTH; WHY PEOPLE ARE LEAVING! Got to choose words wisely their everywhere! Those going, from what I understand, are British born and breds who are sick and tired of it all. Some people here who have been on Housing Lists for years and years may find themselves number 2 on the list for a flat or house. "oh goody" they think "not long to wait". Suddenly after not hearing anything for ages, they contact the relevant Councils only to find they are now number 29 on that very same list. "why is that, when we were number 2 a while back?" they enquire "because we had to house immigrants" is the answer again and again. Some of the British born and bred never end up with accommodation. Private housing is not cheap to rent and to purchase a place is nigh on impossible for some people, prices are extremely expensive and I feel for young people nowadays who have jobs but are unable to get on the first rung of the ladder to owning their own place. People have been known to come to Britain purely for the health service, it is free. No wonder the born and bred British are leaving, I don't blame them. Ironically, friends of ours upped and went to New Zealand, she was originally from New Zealand, came to England for a year, met our friend, she applied to stay here longer and they eventually got married and then went back over there. Close family members of ours had a chance to go to New Zealand too, he had the opportunity of a job there and two or three of his mates had already gone, they stayed because of their kids, one is almost 14 the other almost 12, they just didn't want to uproot them. That is an interest statement though Questionmark, I wonder how many would leave if money were no object, I bet there would be more than 196,000 leave. On this island there are few Brits, for some of them money is no theme, other are just roaming hippies that just stayed after they ran out of money, but this is too remote to be an expat paradise. You've noticed that as well have you? I don't usually watch the programme, as it just depresses me, but i watched it once some months ago & was shocked, as of the 15 or so incidents covered only 2 involved white britons. ( ) I just got this from the Crimewatch site: At around 4pm on 21 May 2007, a 16-year-old girl was raped near a recreation ground in Ash, Surrey. The girl had been studying with a friend in Aldershot and was making her way home to Ash at around 4pm to 5pm, talking to a friend on her mobile. As she walked through open land near Ivy Fields recreation ground, an area popular with dog-walkers, she saw a man coming towards her. They passed each other, but the man then turned, ran back and grabbed her. After the attack, he got very emotional and started crying. He fetched her clothes and put his fingers to his lips as if to say 'Shh'. The victim thinks he may have been asking her not to tell anyone. He got to his knees and put his wrists together, either praying or possibly pleading. The only words he said in English were 'Sorry, no English.' He also said a few words in a foreign language. Then he got up and ran away. The victim got dressed and called 999. Why are people leaving England ? ............hmmm, i dont know, maybe the weather ? Syd Boggle Posted August 23, 2007 #21 Share Posted August 23, 2007 (edited) There is ofcourse an interesting flipside to this, I have owned a house in south of spain for 30 years, when i first got the house, i must have been one of the first few foriegners there, over the last 10 years however, the number of british expats who live in spain has exploded, its quite amazing, unfortunately the british Expat communmity in spain are generally about as worthless as the Immigrants they claim to be escaping from back in the UK, Most British expats on the costa's are chancers & wanna be cockney gangsters, who although dont sponge off the system, but contribute absolutely nothing, they sell up their ex council flats in London, this cash buys them something a little nicer in spain, then they scratch out a living, blagging they are handy men etc, or what ever crap job they can get within the Biritsh community.....(who are happy to exploit their own) Many Expats have lived in spain for over 20 year, yet cant speak a word in spanish, would rather eat in "BoBs Costa fryups"...and watch cencored porn... yet these are the same people who critizise UK immigrants of not wanting to intigtrate in the UK! Now, moving the argument back to the UK, it appears to me that immigration (where ever in the world) attracts 10% decent immigrants, and 90% Gypo Dirtriders.... Most people here speak English (about 40% used to work in the USA, 20% in Australia and about 10% were kicked out from Zimbabwe by Mugabe and his loony gang). They should have built those homes many, many years ago. When they first gave Council house tenants the rights to buy their own homes, I could have sworn that the money the Government got from the purchases was supposed to be ploughed back into building more houses, it never happened. Cultures that have been evolving since the ice age are of no value at all and should be discarded in favor of some sort of bland, dismal global average.
