KariW Posted May 24, 2015 #3 Share Posted May 24, 2015 I have to admit, I have a soft spot in my heart for Kangaroos! Still, I can see where a big buck like that demands to be given a wide berth.
rogue wave Posted May 24, 2015 #4 Share Posted May 24, 2015 Looks like he's not too nasty. If it were a bear then that would be a different story.

ChrLzs Posted May 26, 2015 #8 Share Posted May 26, 2015 (edited) Still capable of evicerating you if it felt like it. True, but they very, very rarely get aggressive unless fighting each other or defending themselves. Indeed I've just checked and the only known fatality from a kangaroo attack involved someone trying to get it away from his dogs, way back in 1936 - the dogs apparently instigated the fight.. If you back away from an angry roo, s/he will generally not bother fighting further - typical lazy aussies, just like me.. They are normally very docile and approachable. They do kill people when they get hit by cars and cause accidents, tho.. Drop Bears, however.... Edited May 26, 2015 by ChrLzs

Gosh, you know drummers!! They do not exactly grow on trees!! They tend to swing from them But I am just jealous, I hate they way they can just put a pair of sticks on the dashboard and boom - they are allowed to park in a disabled parking spot!! Astra. Posted May 27, 2015 #15 Share Posted May 27, 2015 The story of the Roo reminds me of when I was little. My grand-dad took us to the zoo for the day. Anyway - a Big Red who of course was behind a caged fence...suddenly aimed at me and urinated on my pretty dress and shoes. I remember being quite upset about the incident - so we called it a day and went home.
