Giant Marsupial Fossils

Recommended Posts

In a cave in Australia, fossils of extinct marsupials were found. Nova broadcasted an episode named "Bone Diggers," and they interviewed the people who found the fossils. Giant Wombats, carnivorous Kangaroos, and a giant marsupial whos name I can't remember were found, along with many more fossils as well! This is ground-breaking, and I believe that we are one step closer to uncovering our origins. What do you think?

I've seen this episode, but I don't think it was the Tasmanian Tiger...

They've been finding giant marsupials for years. Creative google searching ought to come up with more info for you.

It's the Marsupial Lion. Thylacoleo. For its body size, it has the strongest bite force of any animal known.

They've known about those for years...

I'm guessing you've never been to the dinosaur/extinct animal section of an australian museam before...
