Exorcisms - Demonic Vomit

What are peoples thoughts on exorcism and the many stories told about the fluid that comes out at the same time the demon comes out?

Embellished stories, and mental illness.

Maybe to make it more dramatic.

In a movie, they need to have some sort of dramatic occurrence (like vomiting up goo) to signify that the person is no longer possessed. If they didn't, well, then, the audience might not know what happened O_o

They hey vomit, but usually due to illness. Not the demon. They usually haven't eaten, and some need to be force fed, or fed with a feeding tube, in severe cases.

The body gets ill for a variety of reasons. They can regurgitate on purpose just for the effect as well.

They can also have other excretions, that are just as unpleasant.

Exorcism is a lot of stupid hocus pocus which should be illegal if carried out on children and the vulnerable. I believe people have died as a result!

People cough up fluid without demons too.

I've read about exorcisms where people have supposedly vomited up such things as needles, seaweed, glass, rosary beads, fluids of every color... you name it, as to whether it's true, who knows...

bear in mind that 99% of demon-possessed people are emotionally vulnerable children, women, and seniors. Not a single well-trained Spec Ops or police guy.

And here I thought it was just a bad gag reflex from brushing my teeth, but no, I'm exorcising demons with my tooth brush.
