Glenn Beck: HCR Vote is an Affront to God

THE MATRIX

Recommended Posts

On his radio show today, the unstable Glenn Beck was discussing health care reform with bat poop crazy Rep. Steve King (R-IA) and they both came to the interesting conclusion that health care reform is an affront to the conservative sensibilities of God, because the vote may be held on Sunday. Beck said, “Here is a group of people that have so perverted our faith and our hope and our charity, that is a this is an affront to God.”

Glenn Beck is proof there is no god. If there was a god, there's no way he'd tolerate that much stupid being broadcast on our airwaves.

Being in the UK and only having seen snippets of him on TV, I'm genuinely not sure... is he real?! I mean... he's not joking? Do people really listen to him? The man has me in fits of hysterics and cold sweats of fear simultaneously...

Glenn Beck has you in fear?

Then he's doing his job. He reports on things that the U.S. government doesn't want you to hear.

Don't worry, though. He'll either be cancelled (which is hard to do since he holds an EXTREMELY high viewer rating)....or...and I hate to say it....killed.

The funny thing is that Beck is popular enough now to where the U.S. government has to protect him. He's their worst nightmare.

And you know what? That's kind of refreshing to me. While I think a lot of what he says is wishy-washy at best.....I can still rest assured that he's big enough to where they can't do anything about it.

And there is nothing that screams freedom more than that.

Glenn Beck is a scam artist that doesn't believe a word he says. He's a poison to the cause he claims to represent.

Um... no. He has me in fear in the sense that I'm terrified such a revolting bigot of a man gets such high ratings. This is a man who compared Al Gore's support of climate change issues with Hitler exterminating millions of Jews, stem sell research to the Final Solution and said he wished grieving families of 9/11 victims would 'shut up'!

I certainly can't see why the US government would want him killed. He just bumbles along shouting, being 'patriotic' and making the occasional digs at policy and non-whites, as far as I can tell. He's basically the US' Nick Griffin, but instead of being a figure of hatred he seems to have been transformed into some kind of folk hero. That's what puts the fear of God into me.

You're 19 years old, correct? With all due respect, you wouldn't know a scam artist if one was standing right before you in person. You don't have near enough life experience yet to experience what it's really like to be "had".

Beck certainly believes what he's saying. He's extreme, I'll agree.

But on the same point, at least he has the freedom to be extreme.

My greatest fear is the very real possibility that will be taken away. From all of us.

So do you believe that he should be hushed up, along with others of his ilk?

At what point do you allow the U.S. government to man your remote control?

Is Beck the turning point?

No, I don't think he should be 'hushed up', he has a right to freedom of speech same as everyone else. I'm just shocked that so many people watch his show and seemingly agree with it. If Nick Griffin had his own show over here I think the public would have burned down the studio by now.

We're not talking about Nick Griffin. I don't even know who the hell that is to be honest with you....and I really don't care.

But if he's a "bad guy"...and I'm guessing you believe he is...then he would have every right to speak on what he wants to speak on. Hell, the History Channel (owned by A&E) has given Tom Metzger so much publicity that it brought his Nazi Socialist agenda back to life.

If there's anything more evil than that, I can't think of it....yet the History Channel continually boasts that kind of propaganda 10 times a year....every year...and has done so over the past decade.

Of course he has a right to speak on whatever he wishes, but the flip side of free speech is that opponents have the right to voice their objections too... this is the point I am trying to make. I find it unnerving that someone with opinions like Beck's seems to go virtually unchallenged, but then maybe I just don't see any of that being in another country - it's why I asked what the general opinion of Beck was.

I'm not really sure how showing documentaries on white supremacism is recruiting people for the cause. They also show documentaries on ancient Rome and serial killers... but I don't think they're encouraging us to don sandals and start hacking away with a machete.

Having seen some of these films, I can safely say that they are not very effective propaganda.

Way to be well informed in international politics there.

To be fair, there's not much reason for anyone outside the UK to have heard of him. He's not exactly a key player. I think that's why I find it so odd that Beck - who seems to hold very similar views - is an apparent celebrity in America.

Can you just imagine the Nick Griffin show? I would like it to consist of him sitting uncomfortably in a chair while a succession of British-born black and asian people ask him about his policies on repatriation...

You just checked my profile for an irrelevant fact about myself to invalidate an otherwise undeniable claim, correct? With all due respect, you wouldn't know a scam artist if videos of his blatant fraud were available on youtube with millions of views. For the record, how many times have you been "had" and when will you start to notice a pattern?

Are you talking about repatriation in the sense of currency?

Or are you talking about returning people of a certain race back to their country of birth?

I did check your profile. I did see that you claim to be 19 years old.

And I'll reiterate...........

You haven't seen crap, kid. You do not have the life experience at 19 years old to comment on the things you comment on. I don't want to come off as the old guy who walked to school with no shoes...uphill...both ways.....but seriously......

When someone my age told myself at your age that I didn't know my ass from a hole in the ground yet, I walked on arrogantly as if I knew everything.

Luckily, it only took me about a decade after that to realize that instead of thumbing my nose at the guy...I probably should have listened to him a bit. I don't expect you to think any differently. And you may have the type of personality that values pride over being humble. But I DO know that in 20 years, you're going to (at least inwardly) say...."I thought I knew it all...and I didn't know ****)".

Get some mileage, kiddo. You can legally drive a car....and even drink a beer in some countries. But there ain't no certification you can get to school you on what to do when the **** hits the fan. But eventually....you'll learn to step away from the fan.

I've seen enough to diagnose a political hypochondriac when I meet one.

I would love to meet the man so we could share stories of actions deliberately made despite full knowledge of their futility.

That mileage can be a burden sometimes... I was definitely a lot more idealistic when I was 19 and sometimes I'd really like to go back to that.

Yes, when I talk about repatriation I mean a policy of deporting people to their country of 'origin', even if they have been here for generations. Obviously this isn't something Beck is proposing, but his views on 'protecting white culture' are similar and attract a similar breed of neo-Nazi thugs. I saw a photo of someone at his 9/12 thing with a sign saying 'Diversity is a Disease'.

They both fall into that same trap of "what about the poor, middle class, comfortably off white man?", getting all indignant that no one worries about offending them and going on and on about 'white' culture as if we weren't just a mishmash of races in the first place.

But, the fact the Mr Griffin's party have eight seats in parliament and two EU seats makes me really disappointed and angry with my fellow countrymen. So I guess that I am quite amazed that people can sit there and listen to Beck bring Muslims on his show and ask them to prove they're not working with the enemy, and threaten to place all Muslims in concentration camps, and not get a bit angry...

He's got high ratings because his nuttiness has become a public phenomenon. HE'S an affront to God. I'm glad some members of the church are beginning to disown him.

Can you link to the video where you saw Beck do this? I've not heard about it and if true it's absolutely astonishing. I didn't think the man would sink that low.

I wonder where you get your information on Beck.

Was that addressed to me? I've seen dozens of his youtube videos and all the quotes come from either that or newspaper articles.
