shrooma Posted April 20, 2013 #7 Share Posted April 20, 2013 put a bottle of pop (soda to our cousins across the pond) in the freezer and chill it down to just above freezing and then open it, the expansion of the carbon dioxide lowers the temperature (gas expansion needs energy, it's how your fridge works) and instantly freezes the liquid! supercooling not required, and you end up with lovely dr pepper flavoured ice-cubes! :-) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
